Resolutely is built with your privacy as the foundation. We believe your goals, reflections, and personal data should belong to you and you alone.

Simple promise: Everything stays on your iPhone. Always.

Data Collection

What We DON'T Collect

• Your goals or reflections
• Personal information or account data
• Location data
• Usage analytics or tracking data
• Advertising identifiers
• Any information that identifies you

Optional Feedback

When you submit feedback through the in-app feedback form, we collect:

• Your feedback text (required)
• Device information (optional, only if you check the consent box):
  • Device model (e.g., "iPhone 15 Pro")
  • iOS version (e.g., "iOS 17.2")
  • App version (e.g., "1.0.0")

This information is stored temporarily to help us improve the app. Device information is never collected unless you explicitly opt-in by checking the consent checkbox.

Data Storage

Local Storage

All your goals and reflections are stored locally on your iPhone using SwiftData (Apple's built-in database framework). This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is not backed up to our servers
• Is protected by your device's security and encryption
• Is automatically backed up via iCloud Backup (if enabled on your device)

iCloud

We do not currently sync data via iCloud. All data remains exclusively on your device. If you reinstall the app or switch devices, your data will not transfer unless you restore from an iPhone backup.

Third-Party Services

Resolutely uses minimal third-party services:

• Feedback Submission: When you submit feedback, it's sent to a secure Google Apps Script endpoint for processing.
• No Analytics: We do not use any analytics platforms, crash reporters, or tracking tools.
• No Advertising: We never show ads or share data with advertisers.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, we use Apple's built-in notification system to send local notifications. These notifications:

• Are scheduled locally on your device
• Do not send any data to external servers
• Can be disabled at any time in Settings

Children's Privacy

Resolutely does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since all data stays on the device and we don't operate servers or accounts, there is no data collection to monitor or restrict.

Your Rights

Because all your data stays on your device, you have complete control:

• Access: Your data is always accessible within the app
• Delete: You can delete goals or reflections anytime within the app
• Export: Currently not available, but planned for future updates
• Complete Removal: Deleting the app removes all data from your device

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top.
